The Winter Mixed JV team had a tough 2-15 loss to the Bishop Blanchet Bears on Saturday. Our JV squad was outmatched by BB’s first team in 3 years (who should arguably be in the V division) 😉
Meanwhile, the Winter Mixed V team had a double-header at Garfield HS. They played a tight game against league leaders Lincoln, succumbing 9-12 in the end after a few unfortunate turnovers.
Despite such a strong showing in the first game, our V players were then pretty exhausted, and were handily defeated by Westside, losing 2-15.
