Spring Reign is the largest youth tournament in the world, held in Burlington, WA. The next Spring Reign is scheduled for the weekend of April 27-28, 2024, in Burlington, WA. It is a standalone event, separate from our other seasons. It is not required that our HS Gx and Bx BIU players attend, but it is highly recommended because it is so much fun! We generally hold informal practices in the weeks leading up to tournament weekend.
If we are only able to bring one team, priority generally goes to graduating seniors and Varsity players — but if we have enough interest among our players, we have the option to bring a 2nd team. Please reach out to Coach Andrew if you are interested in playing! (Also, for any middle school players out there, Spring Reign has a MS division as well; see details below for Hyla’s team.)

Places to stay are KOA Burlington (cabins, campers, camping, etc – fills up quickly), hotels – Comfort Suites (walking distance from fields), Fairfield Suites/Inn.
Hyla will once again be bringing a team to Spring Reign in 2024, and have corresponding practices leading up to the tournament as follows:
WHAT: Ultimate (Frisbee) Season!
WHEN: Feb 28— May 1 // Mon, Wed, Fri // 3:30 – 5:00 PM
WHERE: Hyla field, middle school campus
WHY: Ultimate is for everyone – truly. It’s inclusive, fun, and relies heavily on self-awareness, internal mediation, and advocacy – hence it’s a natural fit for Hyla, which explains why it has been a beloved school tradition for many years. Every year we welcome students who have never played before as well as seasoned athletes looking to hone their technique. Ultimate at Hyla is open to Hyla students, and to ALL local students from ANY school (or homeschooled) in grades 5-8.
